Forest Reserve Project – Tipper
La Suiza de Turrialba, Provincia de Cartago, Costa Rica
As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility program, Hotel Presidente established a private forest reserve between the towns of La Suiza and Pejibaye de Turrialba, in the province of Cartago, south of San Jose.
A large part of the reserve is registered in the forest protection program promoted by the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) through FONAFIFO
The project protects more than 750 hectares of primary forest, the fauna that inhabits it and the rivers that run through and bless it.
